What if your brush strokes could actually move?
When I returned to iInstagram three years ago, I promised myself I’d experiment with design every single week, focusing on layouts and typography, and leaving my old Victorian style behind.
You already know I use brushes heavily. But instead of the traditional, furry kind that smell of fresh paint, I’ve been re-engineering the concept entirely.
Now, you can take any image, emoji, or gradient, wrap it around a custom nib, and use it to trace a signature spine. Once you replace the traditional brush head, the creative options are endless. And the classic blend tool is the standard go-to, it always yields a similar look.
Today’s experiment takes it into the browser for one huge reason: you can make the brush strokes move. 😱
