Designing a conceptual logo for a car wrapping company

It seems that conceptualising logos has fallen off the agenda of contemporary designers. With the surge of digital media and the growing significance of an online presence, there’s been a noticeable shift towards prioritising simple, uncomplicated designs. This shift has led to an emphasis on minimalist logos rather than intricate conceptual designs 🪢
Furthermore, the proliferation of design tools and templates available online has fostered a perception that logo design should be standardised and commoditised. Designers and businesses have already opted for pre-made templates and tools instead of investing in a custom-designed logo with a robust conceptual foundation 💪
However, graphic designers should always strive to prioritise conceptualisation in logo design to ensure effective communication of the brand’s values, identity, and message to its target audience. Because conceptualisation remains a vital aspect in crafting memorable and impactful logos, while execution may potentially be delegated to an artworker or AI 🦾
Here is a video explaining how I’ve done it for one of my client 👨‍🔧
