For those who are just starting out and don’t have funds to purchase merch mockups, there are plenty of free resources available. Alternatively, the best way to enhance your skills in mockup creation is to build them from scratch, as I did. I mocked up everything, even my teachers. Just kidding.
The key to creating realistic-looking mockups lies in two factors: 1. Distorting your art based on the movement of the fabric below and 2. Understanding light and shadow. Both of these elements are showcased in this reel using Photoshop only.
