Happy Birthday Luna

In 1984, when I was born, my father and other relatives weren’t allowed to visit my mother in the hospital, so she had to show me to my dad through the window of the hospital. Back then, women walked this path alone, and the only visual evidence we had about our birth was the info scribbled in a standardised Soviet card.

38 years later and things are very different. While I was in the hospital after the birth of my daughter, I drew a card of my own. Digital this time, made in style of “Wagman” by Julien Priez aka Boogypaper with my daughter’s name — Luna.
