Branding for Jon Vincent Watchmakers

Mr Vincent Light, having previously managed manufacturing for Timex in the U.K, left the company in 1987 to set up a watch repair workshop in his home town of Lanarkshire, quickly establishing himself as the go to watchmaker for quality repairs.

The sign of trust

Today Jon Vincent is a premium watchmakers based in Hamilton, Scotland. My task was to create a stylish and reassuring sign, that represented ideas of opulence and trustworthiness. I developed the monogram, which was to become a sign of quality, reassurance, trust, expertise and guidance.

There are three colours for the brand; the primary colours are deep purple and off-white, with gold as the secondary colour.
